During a solidarity rally and march for the Wet’suwet’en First Nation in Ottawa on Feb. 24, 2020, demonstrators encountered a wall of police officers near Parliament Hill. Authorities attempted to redirect the group away from marching through the downtown core, but were unsuccessful in their efforts.
